​Recital and Performance Philosophy

Performance is strongly encouraged, but is not a required part of the lesson experience. Performing in public challenges a musician to play for an audience and to take the time to really master a piece. Students high school age and younger will have the opportunity to participate in a spring recital. Other performance opportunities are also available throughout the year.
